President's Message
| |
 |
| |
It is an honor to be chosen by you, the members, and given
the opportunity to represent you as president of the Professional
Engineering in California Government (PECG) Inland Empire
Section. PECG has a good reputation and is recognized among
all other unions for its effort and hard work in protecting
and promoting its member’s rights and benefits.
This year like any others year, the Inland Empire section
will be facing lots of challenges to be recognized as a lead
section (section of the year) specially as we get closer to
the end of our contract or the Memorandum Of Understanding
(MOU) next year, there will be a lot of issues that must be
addressed.
As the president of the section my biggest challenge is going
to be doing my best in performing and exercising of my roles
and responsibilities in direct supervision, direction, and
control of the business and affairs of the SECTION.
I encourage all of you to get involved in PECG section activities.
It is only with your support and involvement that the Inland
Empire Section will continue to grow, remain strong and even
perhaps win the PECG section of the year award again. To have
a successful MOU negotiations we must have a strong showing
of unity, encourage your supervisor and fee payer co-workers
to join PECG.
Thank you again for your support and your vote of confidence
in me to be your President of the Inland Empire PECG section.
All the best,
Scott Hongkham
